The Practice

Summary
David Haward Associates was formed in 1988 and originally located on the edge of the New Forest in the early 1990's the Practice relocated to Pembrokeshire in West Wales near Clynderwen on the edge of the Preseli Mountains, which form part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. As a result of getting a large number of commissions along the Pembrokeshire coast the Practice opened its second office in the historical cathedral city of St Davids in 2005. The Clynderwen office continues to serve the clients located in east Wales, Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire as well as east Pembrokeshire.

We are committed to good design; the form and space both in and around buildings, and maximise the use of natural light and views which are the special characteristics of West Wales. We strive to produce innovative but sympathetic design solutions to the local building styles and make extensive use of ecologically and environmentally friendly materials. Our design solutions integrate our clients' hopes and aspirations within technical, functional and regulatory constraints to produce stimulating, inspiring and memorable spaces.
